Increasing domestic and international security awareness coupled with the growing ubiquity of enterprise IP networks has led to an enormous increase in corporate and government use of CCTV recording. Strengthening regulatory trends - particularly in the finance sector - have also called for companies to be able to present even more extensive audit trails of their business activities.

Synchronised Video and Audio

Leveraging the Symphony architecture with a range of IP-enabled cameras, video servers and Networked Audio Modules, Symphony CCTV Recording™ enables CCTV recordings to be fully integrated within Symphony. Furthermore, Symphony supports extensive compliance auditing with Data Lifecycle Management and full control over access, to enable users of Symphony CCTV Recording to meet the current Home Office guidelines for surveillance camera codes of practice.

Analogue Integration

In addition to the supported range of IP cameras and servers, Symphony CCTV Recording can be deployed in an analogue environment, allowing customers to dramatically improve the utility of their CCTV recording infrastructure whilst leveraging much of their existing video investment. Symphony CCTV Recording also supports hybrid environments where a combination of analogue and IP-based systems co-exist, facilitating a gradual migration to an entirely IP environment.

Control and Management

Symphony CCTV Recording offers full control over key recording parameters such as image size and quality. In addition, we also provide an extensive set of advanced options including configurable motion detection, scheduled recording capabilities and variable threshold recording triggers. Symphony CCTV Recording also adds full Information Lifecycle Management capabilities to the recording environment. Real time and historical access to recordings is acheived through Symphony personal Assistant™ - our unified interface to the Symphony platform.
